To Beer Festival Attendees:

Although some parts of the Great North Carolina Beer Festival were a success, it is also obvious that there were many shortcomings that you are aware of. Our goal was and is to bring a great event to the community that is enjoyable for the public, helps local/regional entrepreneurs and micro brewers along with giving financial support to worthy charities. We achieved those goals.

However, the overwhelming turnout created many logistical issues for which we were caught unprepared. We are diligently working to remedy the problems and present a workable structure for the future that will insure a great event without the logistical problems. For example, limiting all ticket sales (general admission and VIP)to a manageable number, improving traffic flow, insuring adequate properly trained staff to handle the various key areas such as the ticket entrance and the VIP Tent, and moving the event to a later date (perhaps October).

Please accept our sincerest apologies for those of you that were disappointed in the Festival. For attendees that did have a positive experience, thank you for your support. We look forward to making major improvements for all patrons. This was our 1st year and we are genuinely sorry for our missteps. We hope you will consider giving this great event a second chance. We want to create an event that will give our community a day of festive fun and help support the needs of deserving charities. Again, our sincerest apologies for our shortcomings during this 1st year’s Festival.

Join Us At The Great North Carolina Beer Festival!

The Great North Carolina Beer Festival at beautiful Tanglewood Park brings together microbrew/craft beer breweries from all across the state, region, and nation. There will be thousands of attendees gathered to celebrate the magnificent multitude of beers offered by the finest brewers in the land. The festival area will be specially decorated and filled with a wide variety of brewers, sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors. Live music and entertainment will be presented on the Tanglewood Band Shell stage during the festival. There will be special events and marketing extravaganzas held during the festival to showcase the products of the brewers, sponsors, and exhibitors.

It’s a grand celebration, so come join us… One time, one place to bring customers and friends together to hoist a cold one and toast the good times of life.
